He Asked for a Release

This tall, skinny, blonde-haired/blue-eyed guy came in. He seemed like a normal client. He filled out my client intake sheet, mentioned his areas of pain, and used medical terms such as, "Torn the ACL/Left Knee. Surgery 1999. Rx=Glucosamine." I was overjoyed with happiness that I had a REAL client. I made him pay upfront. He only wanted a half hour.

I think I was being professional. I didn't indicate anything nasty. I said, "Have you received a professional massage before?" He said, "Yeah." I said, "Okay, then you pretty much know what to do then. You'll need to undress. You can hang your clothes up on that hanger, or fold them and put them in the chair. Jewelry and watch can be put in a safe place like your shoe, or in your pocket. After that, I'll need you on the massage table, under the sheet, face-down, with your face in the face cradle. I'll be back in moment."

When I got back to the room, he did as I said accordingly. The massage went fine and then he upgraded to a full hour. I didn't ask for the money, just assumed he'd give it to me at the end of the massage. I asked how he injured his ACL, and he said, "I injured it pretty bad," but never answered HOW he injured it. I thought he might want to keep it to himself, so I let the topic dwindle.

45 minutes into the massage, as I was working on his arm while he was supine, he said, "So do you offer the ultimate full body experience?" I said, "I'm not sure what you're trying to say. If you would like to add a steam shower, it costs $15 more to sit in the steam for a half hour." I knew full-well what he was implying, but I knew he didn't pay me for the second half hour, and I didn't want to go off on him and have him bail on me without paying me. He laughed and said, "That's not what I was trying to ask you." I didn't speak.

I got to his left arm, and he said, "Do you offer a release with the massage?"
I said, "No, that's illegal."
He said, "I know, but I'm not a cop."
I said, "Cool, because I'm not either. But, I am a law-abiding citizen."
He said, "Yeah, but my friends said that you guys offered a full-service massage."
I said, "Your friends are lying to you, or are referring to a different place on the same street."
He said, "No, they were talking about this place."
I said, "Listen, I am the owner of this day spa. I primarily work on females because men sexually harass me more than women do, and I prefer not to put myself in that situation. The other massage therapist here, well, she's my mother, and I know her VERY well. She would never do that. The other person that works here is an esthetician and she has not worked on any males for the month that she's been here. So, either your friends are spreading rumors or you have the wrong place."
He said, "Yeah, since you own the place, you gotta protect your business."
I said, "It's not just protection, but we are legitimate here."
He said, "I didn't come here for a legitimate massage."
I said, "Yeah, you've made that pretty clear."

The massage ended when I massaged his scalp. I got him a cup of water, went to the lobby and stood there waiting so he couldn't just walk passed my office and not pay me. I had this inkling he would try to pull that. He came out and we looked at each other in each other's eyes, and I said, "That would be $10 more." He fished out $10 and I told him to have an "Excellent Day."

The weird thing is, he was a young (born in 1979) and attractive man. I can't see how he couldn't naturally get a girlfriend to do him or bootycall without having to pay for it. I guess it's the taboo aspect of paying for sexual services that they get off on? Weird.
