I Feel Like a Slave

I FINALLY did my first outcall. I remember a few months back, a woman saw me on Craigslist and wanted a massage from me. And after I showed up at her house she canceled on me!
Well, THIS time around, I did a bachelorette party. June 2nd, I was requested for June 12th and was asked if I could do a party for $35 per person, per hour and that 9 people would be getting massages. 9 hours of massages is WAY too many, so I decided I was going to bring another massage therapist with me.

The headcount went down to 6 massages. Still, I didn't want to be at someone's house for 6 hours, so I still was bringing another therapist.

The LAST minute, the headcount went down to 4 people.

When I got to the apartment, she said, "Only 2 of us are getting massages." I felt RIPPED. I could have turned around and left, and I should have. But, stupid me decided to do the $35 massages for 2 people. I made $70 plus $20 in tips. I'm irked. The 2 women were nice, but still, I could have done something better with my time, like stayed home with my kids and enjoyed my weekend, rather than feeling like someone's massage slave. 🤬

So, I have to update my website, and mention that bridals or bachelorette's will be cheaper IF there are more than 2 people. If I massage just 2 people, then the price of $60 per hour stands. No, ifs, ands or buts. I would NEVER have massaged for $35 per hour if I knew there were going to only be 2 people getting one hour massages. *new massage policy*
